Spring Collars on Brown Fur

I’m not a girly-girl, but I do like to freshen up my look with a new collar from time to time. My favorite place to shop for a collar is at Sugar Plum Collars on Etsy. If you’re a fan of color and pattern (and I am!), this shop is full of some fantastic eye candy. Above and below, I’m modelling The Paisley. It’s a little more subtle than my usual choices, but I thought I’d try understated for a bit. I like it.

A bolder choice and a collar that really pops, I’m wearing Secret Garden. It’s a bright and happy kind of design. There are so many fabrics and patterns to choose from at Sugar Plum Collars, it’s difficult to limit yourself. They are all handmade to order with sizing just for your dog and Christine makes each collar durable and beautiful.

If you Like the Sugar Plum Collar Facebook Page, you can post your dog’s photo to enter the monthly collar giveaway for one lucky dog. You’ll also hear about sales and 2-for-1 deals. That’s how I purchased these bad boys and I’m so happy I did.

Sugar Plum Collars

There are very few fashions I actually wear. I’m too large for T-shirts (they make me hot, even in winter.) Shoes-on-the-Floor tries to put hats on my head and eyeglasses on my face, but he’s just being a goofball. Fashion that I enjoy wearing is my collar. And I have found a lovely little shop on Etsy that makes sweet handmade collars.

This is my personal favorite. I’m hoping to win it in the contest Sugar Plum Collars runs on Facebook each month. If you’d like to enter, you just need to become a fan and post a picture of your dog on their wall here.
