52 Pick-up :: Week 44

Week 44 :: When I look at this photograph, I see potential. I see pleasure on both sides of the lens. And I see many years to come…

52 Pick-up :: Week 43

Week 43 :: I struggle with taking photographs indoors. But I’m practicing…

52 Pick-Up :: Week 41

Week 41 :: Flowers everywhere, even on the plant called Creeping Jenny. Even creepy plants can be pretty.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 39

Week 39 :: Monet prints were everywhere in the 1980s and early 90s. This great artist’s work saturated our culture and attracted detractors in the process. I think he’s rad. Here’s my photographic homage.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 38

Week 38 :: The blooms on this tree in our yard come once a year and last about a week. Mother Nature’s reminder to stop and appreciate. Done, Mom.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 37

Week 37 :: His brother’s skateboard. But he rides it like it’s his own. XGames… look out.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 36

Week 36 :: It seems the flowers burst out of nowhere this past week. Colors of pink, purple, yellow and spring green are everywhere. I guess those April showers really work.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 35

Week 35 :: Spring cleaning the basement leads to lots of chaos. But we are able to take a moment and smell the roses… or watch the bouncing ball.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 34

Week 34 :: Spring Sports. One boy thinks he’s not good enough. One boy need to dial down his enthusiasm (before he hurts someone). These cleats will look huge in a few years.

52 Pick-Up :: Week 33

Week 33 :: We’ve lived in this house for about eight years. Every spring, this one hyacinth pokes its head out of the ground and says hello. Then, it gets broken by big dog paws or picked by little hands or crushed by getting-bigger-all-the-time boy feet. It never gets a chance to bloom properly. Cross…
