It’s officially a blizzard here in the Northeast US. Luckily, the timing wasn’t too bad: Daddy is off for the day; get together with my brother rescheduled for next weekend and the boys are joyfully home-bound.

Friday already… I have much to do to prepare for the weekend. I am the packer of the family. Shocking, yes, that the wife and mother of the family puts all the stuff where it needs to go when it needs to be there.

And that’s my sweet dog, Scout, who just had a birthday (she’s 8!) My birthday is Monday. No big plans… they seem to fall away after you turn 40. I’ll just see what the day brings and try not to work very much :) And I will definitely take that brown dog for a walk.

Get My Funny Back

I’m really not sure where it went…

That quote from When Harry Met Sally, “Everybody thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor, but they couldn’t possibly all have good taste.” What about the sense of humor part? Does everybody have one? And why does it seem my funny waxes and wanes like the moon phases? Hormones? Sleep deprivation? I can’t answer those questions, but I do know that I’ve been called funny in the past and I miss it.

One of my projects this weekend is to find my funny. Wish me luck!
