Warmth

I’ve read on the interwebs that some citizens are choosing one word for 2010. One word? That seemed impossible. I didn’t think I could pick just one word. It’s why I’ve never gotten a tattoo — what would I pick?

But as with most things, once you take the pressure off, an answer will present itself. My word is Warmth.

I’ve been busy redesigning my site to better fit my style, design aesthetic and most importantly, my customers. I appreciate so many different styles. But they seem to have made my offerings a bit confusing and messy. So, one question I’ve had to ask myself is “what is my style?” Some designers just know who they are straight out the gate. My style is still emerging, but it does have a warm, vintage bent. The redesign I’m working on will focus on this style and everything that doesn’t fit, will be gone. I’m hoping to be done with it soon.

I have many plans for this year which I’ll be sharing one by one here. I am excited and full of energy and I hope that will be apparent in the days, weeks and months to come.

Warmth is such a great word to carry across all aspects of my life: family, friends, business, causes & charities, my purpose. If I can infuse all these things with Warmth, this year will be my best yet.

Warmth seems a perfect word to describe you. It implies an open, inviting nature full of comfort and kindness. If you can create that in your site, everyone will want to come in!
